I just filled out an application for an Author Fair in Dekalb. Wouldn’t it be ironic if the first author fair I attend is in small town Illinois rather than the bustling, literary-strewn Seattle area? The opportunities I’m finding here make me glad I moved back.
The
DeKalb Public Library
is looking for local authors for their third annual
Writer’s Yarn
. Any local author interested in participating at the fair to promote their books, meet fans, interact with fellow authors or publishing houses is welcome. Authors should fill out the application and return it by
April 30, 2014
to be considered.
The Writer’s Yarn will be held on Saturday, May 31, from 11 am – 3 pm at the Haish Memorial Library in DeKalb. For more information, contact Edith Craig.
