Scouting Book Launch Venues

I found a great place to hold a book launch party for Bend Me Shape Me next spring in my hometown area in Illinois.  Sunday I attended Willow Springs church outside of Tiskilwa IL and afterward went to lunch with a friend in nearby Princeton.

Four and Twenty is aptly named for the homemade pies and pastries they feature. (“Four and twenty blackbirds baked in a pie”).  They use local fresh produce when available and have healthy options on the menu.  Even their potato chips were homemade and my chicken salad sandwich was delicious.

They only serve breakfast and lunch, but they have a room at the back that would be perfect to have a special event like a reading and book signing.  I will be going back soon, if only to have another piece of pie or one of their ginormous brownies.
